Frequently Asked Questions
-
Our first session is a chance to talk about what brought you to therapy, what you would like to feel different, and what kind of support would be most helpful. You do not need to arrive with everything figured out.
-
Sessions are typically 53–60 minutes. Many clients begin with weekly appointments, although frequency may vary depending on your needs, goals, and availability.
-
EMDR is a structured therapy approach that can help the brain process distressing experiences and reduce their emotional intensity. You remain in control throughout the process, and you are not required to describe every detail aloud.

Q: No. I support women and men navigating infertility, IVF, pregnancy, postpartum changes, pregnancy or infant loss, and the emotional transition into parenthood.

Yes. I'm currently in-network with BH Complete Commercial, the Georgia Exchange, Medicare, Oscar Health Plan, United Healthcare, Aetna Commercial Health, Aetna Medicare, Aetna Medical Rental Network, Aetna EAP, and Cigna. I'm also in the process of credentialing with TRICARE, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Carelon, and Ambetter. Your exact cost will depend on your individual benefits, so I recommend confirming your behavioral health coverage before your first appointment. If I'm not in-network with your plan, I can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
-
Sessions are held virtually through a secure video platform, so you can meet from home, work, or anywhere private with a stable internet connection. EMDR is done virtually.
-
We're currently in-network with several major plans, including Aetna, Medicare, and more, with additional credentialing in progress. We also accepted private pay. See the full list on our Insurance and Fees page.
-
As of right now, we can only offer virtual therapy.

Cancellations or reschedule requests must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled session. Appointments canceled with less notice, or missed entirely, will be charged a $125 no-show/late cancellation fee.
